Tropical Aquarium Fish Pictures Pet Fish
Have you ever overcome a phobia of yours?

If so, how? I believe I have an abnormal fear of fish. I know I'm terrible for this, but my husband left to Korea for a year and left his bettas behind...I could not feed them, clean their bowls, let alone be in the same room with them, and they almost died. I gave them to my neighbor in the nick of time. I break out into a sweat and have a panic attack if I see a fish, dead, alive or even a picture of a fish. I absolutely cannot go to a pet store, aquarium, or even my mothers house. She has 350 gal. tropical reef tank. I have nightmares about a fish coming to get me. It's awful. This is starting to interfere with my life now, my kids want to visit the aquarium and I just can't go. How can I overcome my fear? Do I need to see a phychiatrist or something? Serious answers only please.

i used to be afraid of public speaking. (this is the most common fear in the world-(-even more than death!). i just did it! spoke to as many people as i could! in crowds, one on one, there is lots of ways to do it. now i'm outgoing to a fault. i chit chat with EVERYONE i'm next to, in the grocery store, the bank, gas stations, convenient stores, i probably have the opposite problem now. i try to beat that by always being cheerful and smiling. that probably annoys people too.
