Discus Fish Care Aquarium

When will I be ready to start taking care of discus fish?

My dad used to have an aquarium a long time ago, but sold it for some reason. Now I want to start with my own aquarium, and I really like discus fish, so when will I be ready to take care of discus fish? I want to start off with some easy fish to take care of, but I'm not sure what the size of the aquarium must be. My goal is to have around 6-8 discus if I'm lucky.

only way you will be ready is when you had them for years and even then you wont be ready as you get difrent problems with fish and i could be here all day explaining it to you but the bets way is to get them and learn for yourself id say start with say two buy a medium tank let it settle for a week or two then buy two fish and start that way
