Is this a good lighting?
for a 20 gallon tank up saltwater. I have two each HO T5 bulbs 24Watts. both are 10k bulbs and wondered if there be better to replace a bulb in a bulb actinic 10k. I want some algae growth on rocks and I live nice few polyps growing and such.
haha, if you want the growth of algae that you want great lighting, but also help your plants. do not want to point actinic bulbs. They will give almost no growth and are purely for saltwater tanks. 6.5K will give the best growth of plants or algae, but are more yellow in color. check this guide should help you even go to T5: http://www.aquariuminfo.org/lighting.html
