when you can add a betta to my tank? Thank you. (10 points)?

I have a 10 gallon tank with a filter cloth. and a heater. temperature is 78. and a false some "Silk plants" so I can not remove the fins of bettas as plastic. gravel substrate. With the heater of the second filtered state running 5-6 days. But yesterday I put some flakes in a nylon sock and hung it on the tank. and add some more food today. When I can add Betta to the tank? im getting a male. Thanks! also any tankmates once the tank is well appreciated. may add a betta this weekend Some bacteria has once again formed as Betta fish do not have a lot of waste? I must add even more food? api stress zyme I add? Any salt aquarium to prevent the disease? What more needs to be done before adding it. thanks

You can add the Betta to the tank when you test parameters and get 0ppm ammonia, nitrites 0ppm, 5 + ppm nitrate. when the reading reaches 50% exchange of water and add fish immediately. either a group of 5 or 6 cats cory tetras would make a nice small 10 gallon aquarium. You need to keep feeding the tank until it is fully cycling. The only chemical I would use is one to remove chlorine from water. I could be wrong, but I do not Betta perform well with salt, do not take my word for that one though. snails and shrimp It would also make a good match for a betta tank. cycle usually takes 3-8 weeks. If your heater can be adjusted and there are no fish in the tank, making the temperature to 86 cycle the tank faster. If it does when the cycle is done only to drop the temperature of two degrees every eight hours. a sudden temperature change could kill some of beneficial bacteria.
